The main goal of the Mayor's Youth Council (MYC) is the representation of Picayune's youth, to empower the youth as leaders, and give opportunities for the betterment of not only the youth but the community as a whole. As Youth Ambassadors for the City of Picayune, the students are afforded the opportunity to develop leadership and citizenship skills. Through this program, students will promote, recognize, and advocate on behalf of initiatives that impact the lives of young people in Picayune. Pictured above is the 2022-2023 Mayor's Youth Council.
